There are many ways to pay tribute to the generous gifts of donation, selflessly given with love and received with hope. If you are inspired to pay tribute to a loved one, there are several opportunities provided by LifeSource, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through donation in the Upper Midwest and responsible for managing this website.

Submit a quilt square

LifeSource maintains an ever-growing Donor Family Quilt. The quilt is a patchwork of memories, lovingly created by donor family members in the Upper Midwest. It is an ongoing project and will never be complete; families are invited to participate when they are ready. You can view the quilt online and learn more about contributing to this loving tribute.

Share a handmade wrap

LifeSource’s Wrapped in Hugs program aims to provide a handmade wrap to every LifeSource donor family at the time of their loved one’s donation. Our hope is that these wraps will help donor families feel embraced by the warmth of this special gift as they begin their grief journey. By volunteering your time and talent to create a wrap for a grieving family, you are helping provide hope and healing.

 Make a financial contribution

When more people are registered as donors, more lives are saved. The sad reality remains that there are many more people waiting for a transplant than there are organs available. LifeSource’s public education program aims to provide the information and inspiration our citizens need to register as a donor. Your contribution to LifeSource helps support public education and donor family support.
